Manufacturers

You decide where your data lives.

Fabricators, machine shops, industrial services, distributors. The first question you'll ask is where the drawings go, and it's the right question.

The number most shops feel first

9 days 2 days quote turnaround

Quoting is usually the bottleneck that costs bids. We measure your current turnaround on real jobs before we touch anything, and again after.

The pattern

Cloud is right for most businesses. Sometimes it isn't right for yours.

A vendor who tells you everything runs on-premises is selling. A vendor who tells you everything runs in the cloud isn't listening. The answer depends on the data.

  • Quoting takes days, and you lose bids to it. Usually because the knowledge to price a job lives with two people.
  • Your senior estimator is retiring. Forty years of judgment, none of it written down.
  • Specs and drawings are unfindable. The file exists. Nobody can locate it in under twenty minutes.
  • Drawings and tolerances can't leave the building. Sometimes contractual, sometimes competitive. Either way it's a hard constraint, and it drives the architecture.

What you get

One use case, on hardware you can point at.

Decide where it runs

Honestly, and in writing

If your data can leave the building, cloud is cheaper, faster, and easier to maintain, and we'll recommend it. If it can't, we specify hardware, install it in your plant, and put data residency in the agreement.

Scope one use

Quoting, spec search, or knowledge capture

Not all three. We pilot on one product line or one document set with a measured before-and-after, so the second phase is a decision rather than a leap.

Keep it running

Monitoring, updates, a person to call

On-premises means someone has to maintain it. That's the honest trade for data residency, and it's what the monthly covers.

Where we'd start

A pilot, on one product line.

Anything touching production is high-stakes. Nothing we build goes near the floor before it's proven somewhere it can't cost you a shift.

  • A readiness assessment. What's automatable, what isn't, and what your existing systems will and won't allow.
  • A written data-residency position. Where every component runs, before you sign anything.
  • One pilot with a measured baseline. Quote turnaround, search time, or estimator hours — your number, taken before we start.
  • Your ERP left alone until it has to be touched. Integration is where these projects die. We do it last, deliberately.

We've worked in security before we worked in AI. If your answer is that the data cannot leave, we'll build for that rather than talk you out of it.

Pricing

On-premises deployments run $15k to $60k.

Hardware is a real share of that and it stays in your building. Cloud versions of the same use case are materially cheaper — we'll price both so the trade is visible.
