Contractors and trades / restoration contractor
One night at a restoration contractor.
The water started at eleven. Whoever answered first got the job.
A night rather than a day, because that is when this trade actually works. A composite night, not a client's records. Nothing here is a measured result.

What the system does
11:10pm
A supply line lets go in a laundry room. The homeowner is standing in it.
Answers in seconds. Asks for the address, whether the water is off, and how much of the floor is wet. Does not tell anyone to touch a breaker.
11:40pm
They ask whether their insurance will pay for it.
Does not answer that. Says the adjuster decides it, that the company documents what it finds, and that photographs taken now are worth more than an opinion at midnight.
1:20am
A second loss, a different house, the same storm.
Both sit in the queue in the order they arrived, both with the address and the extent already captured.
3:00am
Somebody asks whether the mold is dangerous.
Refuses. That is a question for a doctor or an industrial hygienist, and it will not speculate about what is growing inside a wall it cannot see.
5:45am
The crew that went out at midnight is on its second house.
The desk has not opened. More inquiries have arrived and all of them have been answered.
7:30am
The office opens to a queue that is already sorted.
Active water first, then standing water, then the people calling about last week.
9:15am
A homeowner from two in the morning calls back to ask what happens next.
Recognized as an existing job and routed to a person, rather than answered from a script that does not know them.
11:00am
The overnight is over and the paperwork starts.
Every address, every arrival time, and every answer given, in one place.
In this trade the difference between a job and a story about a job is who replied first at one in the morning. That is the only claim this page makes.
Every line here is a composite. It is not drawn from a client's records and no number on this page is a measured result.
